Stuff Becca Is Looking For: part III

We bought this game for $1 at the Pocatello D.I. Truman chose it as his toy and I figured I would throw it away later, but it turned out to be a really cool game. It was made in 1993, and the pirate ships have magnets on the bottom, and they pick up magnetic treasure chests under the clear "ocean" board, then navigate back to their port, where the treasure can be pulled up through a hole. I actually have had fun playing it with him and Brigham.

Only it's missing one pirate ship, the sea monster, both dice, and six or seven treasure chests. It's still totally playable, but would be more fun with all of the pieces (Truman's exact words were, "That's because we got it at the dummy D.I!"). I was curious if anyone else had it, so I looked on Ebay, and only one person in Great Britain is listing it, for $30. No thanks. So please please PLEASE ooooooooooways look for Pirate's Gold when you go to the D.I., so we can get the extra pieces--you'll be Truman's favorite aunt if you get it. (Also, if you want a good laugh, click on the picture to enlarge it and get a good look at the 1993 hairstyles that those shiny-faced boys on the game box are modeling--I bet they wore overalls with only one strap, too).

Secondly, T & B love everything Mario and Luigi--so if you see any wretched Nintendo characters, snag 'em for me. (Only don't tell my kids! I'm, gonna save stuff like this for stocking stuffers next Christmas).

That is all.

You don't need I.D.--you just need D.I.
