Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know about my fabulous new finds from recent forays to the Pocatello and Idaho Falls DIs. Don't be jealous! (Okay, please do be jealous).

For the sisters: I found two wretched American Girl books for Hanna (plus I showed her a cute Littlest Pet Shop house when she was with me), two or three Newbery winners for Bonnie, No, David! for Sharla, and A Year Down Yonder (one of my faves) for Katie. And I took pity on Hanna and gave her the owl book I bought, since she didn't snag this cute metal owl before I did.
I am sooooo jealous. All that STUFF!*! is sooo CUTE!!**&%^$?>* I really need to learn to read CHAPTER books, you know WHAT I mean. But I'm ssSSSsssoo ultra SUPER busY (with a capital WHY!!) and I never HAVE time to read, and Sometimes I jUUUst realize, everything I really eVVer needed to know I learned in kindergarden. Which is such GoOOD wisdom if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteHas Allen been reading seriouslysoblessed? I am mad about those Junie B. books, you little book slut. I lurve the book list, and you better believe I will be printing it off the next time I hit up DI. I think you should come this weekend again. Allen has Monday off, and we can add to our "ridiculously good looking" list of goodies.
ReplyDeleteStill lamenting that roasting pan...Maybe you'd trade it for some parenting tips...
