Christmas Presents + Goodies

I used last weekend's trip to Iona to hit up all three D.I.'s in the Snake River Plain: Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and Rexburg.  And I am feeling much less panicked about Christmas than I did before.  We are going to be READY.

First I will share the "every-day" goodies.

The coolest puzzle EVER.  Did you ever wonder who the heck
would buy a puzzle at the D.I.?  I did.  But now I'm one of those
crazy fools.  I had so much fun putting this puzzle together with
my sweet sisters, Ali and Katie.  Brunettes unite!  Also, this
gem was only ONE DOLLAR!!!!
Famous potatoes--
but with the cutest retro illustrations you've ever seen.
Also, is anyone else confused by the turkey and mountain goat
on Nevada?  Where are the gamblers and slot machines?
What is that cow doing?
District of Mackenzie?  Wha???  Yeah, the Northwest Territories
was called that, way back when . . .
Scout shirt for Brigham: $6
I couldn't resist this cute top for Calvin: $2
Allen bought this puzzle so he and Mollie could
work on it together.  $2
Lucky girl to have such a fun Daddy.
Twenty-five brand-new boxes of chalk for $3?
Yes, please. Katie found this for me, and I will give a
box to whoever wants one)
Never pass up the good Tupperware, peeps.  $1.
My favorite IF cashier only charged me $.25 apiece for these books,
even though they are all marked different prices.

Along with the North America puzzle, these were
my best finds: 3 unabridged audiobooks of "The Great
Brain" on cassette.  $1 apiece.  Truman and I totally
listened to one on the way home.  It's not so bad
having a cassette deck in your 1996 Golden Eagle . . .
Shoes for Calvin: $2 apiece
One of Allen's finds: $2
$1 mittens for Calvin
Also never pass up milk crates, peeps.  I use them for EVERYTHING
This one is an extra large and it was only $1!  I usually pay $3 for these.
Two pairs of size FOURTEEN pants for Truman,
who is high-watering all his size 12's.  One was $3
and one was $5.  Sweets Steals.
Glass turkey "lantern": $.75.  Fall pumpkin: $1 (last year)
Having cute Thanksgiving stuff to display with my holiday books?
Priceless . . .
And now for the Christmas gifts.  I already got Truman and Brigham some stuff in this post, so I am feeling pretty good about how many presents I have right now.  It's so nice to feel prepared.

Brigham goes crazy about swim shirts ($2)  I'm wrapping this up
for Christmas for him to use on our Disney Cruise.
Size 14 shorts for Truman, also for the cruise. $2 and $3.
I'll spray it with Lysol, okay?  Fox for Mollie: $1
{Because clothing is a lame Christmas gift.}
3 sweet Gamecube games for $3 each.
I didn't even know there was a "Beyond Spiderwick
Chronicles" series.  The Spiderwick Chronicles are
Truman's favorite books, so I know he'll be excited
to get this on Christmas morning.
Microphone for my megaphone, Brigham.  $1

You don't need I.D.--you just need D.I.
