We have never had a so-called "clothing budget." And Truman and Brigham are very hard on jeans. I swear they must be sliding on the pavement and grass on their knees on purpose.
So when I last went to D.I., it was to look for jeans for both of them. I didn't have high hopes, because most other 5- and 8-year-old boys are hard on jeans, too. But I scored big time.
I also found a Junie B. Jones that I didn't have, which means I am now only missing three JBJ's in the entire series: That Meanie Jim's Birthday, Graduation Girl, and Party Animal. Do any of you guys have them? I have an extra Mushy Gushy Valentine, and an extra Toothless Wonder, for whoever wants them. My books are updated on the book list.
I guess since I have posted the last three posts, I am the only one finding any goodies at the DI. Yay for me!
We like Junie B. Jones at our house, too. I'm amazed you found pants in such good condition at D.I. My 4 year old is also super hard on his pants. He doesn't have even one pair w/out holes (even the ones we bought 3 weeks ago have met their doom!).

ReplyDeleteDo you guys ever make it up to the Idaho Falls or Blackfoot DIs?? Blackfoot is smaller and priced higher but the IF one is super!!!
