Bonnie's Newbery book list

I will keep adding to this same post of the award winning books I have. I do have to find all of my collection, but for now...I know I have these:

It looks to me like our savvy, fabulous, thrifty way of life might just be catching on!!!

  1. What DI is that in the picture? I think you should also write if you've read the book, and whether it gets a thumbs up or thumbs down. Because Boogs, I give "It's like This, Cat" TWO thumbs down! I can't wait for you to read "Out of the Dust' and "The Whipping Boy."

    Several of the writers who have won the Newbery medal have said in their acceptance speeches that they wished John Newbery's last name had been spelled with two r's. It wasn't until I read this that I knew it only had one "r." When I spell it correctly, I'm afraid everyone else will think I spelled it wrong, but it IS "NewbeRy."

  2. I'm one of Becca's friends from TX - now Indiana - and I thought of you guys when I made my first trip to a local used store called Deja Vu this weekend. I saw enough owls for everyone and glass bowls. You guys crack me up and I wish I was in Idaho so I could give you my list too.
